Gesten B�daptering Aps was established in 1978, by the present managing director Aage
Nielsen and his wife Anne Marie Nielsen.&nbsp;
<p> The
firm was established with the purpose of producing interiors for luxury-class
yachts and has steadily increased and today it is one of Denmark�s biggest in
this line of business. The firm has 45-50 employees who has plenty of experience
in producing interiors / special fixtures, mainly in teak and mahogany.&nbsp;</p>
<p>
Today
the firm has more than 3000 m2 production premises containing many
special machines at its disposal and especially within moulded wood materials we
have performed many fascinating jobs through the years.</p>
<p>The
veneer, which is used for the different assignments, is sorted and selected at
home and abroad by the purchasing manager of the firm, so that we in the best
possibly way can fulfil the customer�s wishes, concerning colour and structure.</p>
<p>Ordinarily
we work within the following fields:</p>
<ul>
  <li>&nbsp;Programming /
work up of customer-drawings (Autocad etc.), which are typically received by
e-mail or at CD, at the two of our CAD/CAM systems.</li>
  <li>Scanning of
customer-models in Denmark�s biggest special scanner, which can handle up to
3000 x 2200 mm / 9,8 x 6,5 feet (2D) parts. The parts are converted to DXF-files,
which further can be worked up in our CAD/CAM.</li>
  <li>&nbsp;Milling at CNC
plywood finishing centre (2D).</li>
  <li>Moulding wood
section including about 600 different moulds( sharpes ), which are developed / produced by
    us.</li>
  <li>Interiors
section containing about 20 cabinetmakers.</li>
  <li>Teak deck /
teak cockpit section.</li>
  <li>
Lacquer section
with hand- and cross-arm spraying, plus drying tunnel and wide strip sanding
    machines.</li>

<p>We attach great importance to the close co-operation with our customers, concerning
development and follow-up with various projects.</p>
